Flying Star comes from the San Yuan tradition of classical Feng Shui. A Feng Shui consultant would build a ‘chart’ of the interior of the house based on its date of birth (when the roof was done) and stars (or unseen energies) that are in the 9 palaces of the house. Which direction the house or dwelling sits or faces is critical to the consultation. Precise measurement using the Chinese compass (Luopan) is done to ensure that the chart is done correctly. Every year, when there is a shift in these energies (or the stars fly), new enhancements and cures are recommended.
